Lawrence Sparling, P.Eng., is a senior solution architect and technology consultant with more than 20years of experience designing collaborative, cloud-based production systems. At Unify and ClimateDoor,he leads technical development on platforms including the Indigenous Renewable Energy Map built for Cando and the Shared Spirits Pathways workforce platform. He also coaches ClimateDoor's AI development team, helping ensure that the tools they build are production-ready: secure, reliable and built on sound backend and data architecture. Lawrence is building expertise in OCAP®-aligned data governance and Canadian-hosted infrastructure to support Indigenous data sovereignty. Lawrence has built production systems for game studios including Electronic Arts, Rockstar and Capcom, along with lab information management for Butterball, QR-code traceability for Ethical Bean Coffee and a video-streaming platform on AWS. As Chief Technology Officer of Trackwork, he also built a software platform for SR&ED tax credit claims, drawing on his experience as a consultant on multi-million dollar claims.
