Angela Adsit is a proud member of the Tahltan Nation and CEO of Indigenous Community Development & Prosperity (ICDPRO), where she partners with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations to support understanding, economic growth and healing. She has served as chief executive of several First Nation economic development corporations and has held executive roles in both for-profit and not-for-profit Indigenous organizations. She also sat on her Nation's government board of directors, which oversees economic development in Tahltan territory in northern BC. Angela is an adjunct professor and a keynote speaker on Indigenous economic development, community wellness and reconciliation. She holds an MBA, a PMP and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with research on Indigenous-defined wellness in economic development. Having grown up in both Indigenous and non-Indigenous worlds, she builds collaboration between diverse groups with a focus on moving forward in a good way.
